|
Reno rode a fine outing from starter Michael Moyer to victory over the Omaha Raptors at Red Rocket Field. The final score was 3-0. The Rockets bumped their record to 25-24 with this latest triumph.
Had Alejandro Hernández not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Hernández hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 3-0, in favor of the Rockets.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Jim Fernández. "That was the problem."
