Titans Get Close Win Over Freeze
The Chicago Titans beat the Minneapolis Freeze, 6-4, at The War Dome. The Titans got a fine performance from third baseman Jason Corcoran, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The Titans bumped their record to 27-23 with this latest triumph.

Corcoran had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Pedro García, he banged a grand slam home run to right-center, giving the Titans a 6-4 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Corcoran.

Corcoran described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
