Bowling Green rode a fine outing from starter Luis Rodríguez to victory over the Antioch Coal Miners at Top of the Hill. The final score was 5-1. Rodríguez, the winner, moves to 1-3. He threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks.
Ramón Medina's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning was a big one for Bowling Green. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Bowling Green trailing 1-0, the catcher reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run.
