The Santa Fe Fuego topped the Seattle Sasquatch, 3-2, in Roberto Clemente League action at The Fire House. The player of the game was Santa Fe pitcher and Pakistan native Mehmood Dar. The Sasquatch fall to 10-12 and continue their wobbly start to the 2034 season.

Jonathan Reynaud had a big run-scoring single for the Fuego in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Santa Fe leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Dennis Montgomery and stroked the single to left. It was his 23rd hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fuego ahead, 3-1.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Dar told reporters after the game.
