Texans Pull Even With 4-1 Victory
The Dallas Texans topped the Hawaii Islanders, 4-1, in Roberto Clemente League action at Metroplex Park. The player of the game was Dallas pitcher and Carthage, Missouri native Dan Edwards. The Islanders fall to 10-12 and continue their wobbly start to the 2034 season.

The Texans got a big at-bat from first baseman Wen Wei. For the game, Wei went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Dallas a 1-0 lead.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Edwards told reporters after the game.
