Fairfield and Omaha duked it out at Anchorage Municipal Stadium and the Flash came out victorious.
Fairfield pitcher Gabriel Bernard did his part in helping his team beat the Omaha Raptors, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Flash saw their win-loss record go to 23-25. At the same time, the Raptors fell to 18-29.
Hoshi Ishikawa drove in one run for Fairfield. The 26-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Shu-yaan Qi. It was his 13th RBI of the season.
Ishikawa called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
