|
Albuquerque Cacti starter Steve Rosenberger was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Canton Paczkis, 5-3. Rosenberger, now 2-2, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. The Cacti bumped their record to 25-20 with this latest triumph.
Jorge Quintero aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk.
In postgame comments to the Albuquerque Daily News, Quintero said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
