Tight Tilt Goes to Raptors, 4-3
|
It was a good time at Anchorage Municipal Stadium, where fans came to watch the Pasadena Bumblebees and Omaha Raptors get after it.
Pasadena first baseman Dale Beeler had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bumblebees dropped a 4-3 decision to Omaha at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. Beeler went 3-4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Andrés Hernández was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts. Pete Tupper was credited with the save for Omaha, his 10th of the season.
Chris McGraw, who is tied for 9th in the DKL in RBI with 29, helped out the Omaha cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," McGraw said.
Omaha, now 15-26, holds 5th place in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division.
