Jing has 4 hit night as Flash Squeeze Past Chicago
The Fairfield Flash knocked off the Chicago Titans, 8-7, at The War Dome. Yeow-whye Jing, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Fairfield won. The left fielder went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Alex Gutierrez was credited with the save for Fairfield, his 2nd of the season. The Flash bumped their record to 21-19 with this latest triumph.

Jing had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 sinker from Brian Mullins, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Flash a 8-7 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Jing.

"We came out aggressive," said Flash manager Gary Altman. "We came out swinging the bats."
