It was a good time at Foothills Stadium, where fans came to watch the Billings Mustangs and Calgary Kodiaks get after it.

The Calgary Kodiaks picked up a win at Foothills Stadium, knocking off the Billings Mustangs, 7-3. Starting pitcher Elmer Turner, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Nobuatsu Fukumoto, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

The Kodiaks got a big at-bat from catcher Jack Zapor. For the game, Zapor went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Calgary a 2-0 lead.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Zapor.

The Kodiaks bumped their record to 21-21 with this latest triumph.
