Horswill Lifts Flash to 4-2 Win
The Fairfield Flash defeated the Chicago Titans, 4-2, at The War Dome. Fairfield catcher Ernie Horswill was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winner was Paul Calamy in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Deug-yeom Park took the loss. The Flash bumped their record to 20-19 with this latest triumph.

Horswill had a game-changing double in the top of the eighth. On a 2-2 cutter from Deug-yeom Park, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Flash a 3-2 lead. It was the 5th double of the year for Horswill.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Horswill.
