The Astoria Argonauts did just enough to sneak past the Bronx Bombers, 7-6, at Golden Fleece Park. Astoria second baseman Justin Duncan earned player of the game honors. The losing streak for Bronx has now reached 6 games.

Roberto Vargas was the walk-off hero for Astoria. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Argonauts catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Bronx manager Weston Papenfuss. "But we decided not to take it."
