Mustangs Best Coal Miners in Pitching Duel
|
The Billings Mustangs eked out a 2-1 win versus the Antioch Coal Miners at The Coal Mine. Nobody did more than left fielder Bill St.john, who captured player of the game honors. Billings is now 15-21, Antioch 30-7.
Early in the game, St.john had a solo home run for Billings. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Mustangs on top, 2-1.
"We'll enjoy this win," said St.john. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
