Fort Worth starter Austin Meyers had a strong outing against the Indian Wells Aeropostales at Stars Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-1 win. Fort Worth is now 18-21, Indian Wells 17-24.

Curt Kline aided the Fort Worth cause with a 2-run double in the top of the third. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Kline told the Fort Worth Today.
