Raiders Win at Pasadena, 7-1
|
Reno starter Raúl Lugo had a strong outing against the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-1 win. Lugo got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 8.2 innings. Lugo allowed 1 earned run. The Raiders bumped their record to 22-16 with this latest triumph.
Ramón Dolit, who is tied for 4th in the DKL in stolen bases with 14, aided the Reno cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Dolit. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
