Raiders Rally to Eke Out Win
The Reno Raiders scored a 6-5 win versus the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. Reno pitcher Jorge Mota nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The winner was Gerry LaForest in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Kohei Hayashi took the loss. The Raiders bumped their record to 21-16 with this latest triumph.

Reno relied on the hitting of Vicente Maldanoda to pick up the win. The center fielder ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Raiders on top, 6-5. For the game, Maldanoda had 1 triple and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Chris Brading, the Reno skipper. "This one tested us."
