Cacti Lose, 6-1, at Stars Field

It was a fun time at Stars Field, where the Albuquerque Cacti and Indian Wells Aeropostales tangled.
The Indian Wells Aeropostales topped the Albuquerque Cacti, 6-1, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stars Field. The player of the game was Indian Wells left fielder Toyokazu Murayama. You-liang Rang got credit for the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed no runs on 8 hits in 5 innings. Maite Tadeo was credited with the save for Indian Wells, his 1st of the season.
With Indian Wells leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Murayama hit a changeup from Kanichi Kaneshiro for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Aeropostales ahead, 4-0.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Murayama.
The 5th-place Aeropostales improved to 16-22.
