Pioneers Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Mile High
|
Vancouver rode a decent outing from starter Kenko Samurakami to victory over the Mile High Mustangs at McNichols Stadium. The final score was 6-2. Picking up the save was Munemori Abe, his 8th. The Mustangs fall to 6-14 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2034 season.
The Pioneers got a big at-bat from catcher Baskoro Pamungkas. For the game, Pamungkas was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the seventh, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Vancouver a 4-2 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Pamungkas said after the game.
