Reno right-hander Jorge Mota was in fine form, shutting out the Omaha Raptors, 5-0. Mota picked up the win for Reno, going 8 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. The Raptors fall to 13-20 and continue their wobbly start to the 2034 season.
The Raiders picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Reno manager Chris Brading. "It's usually not just one thing."
