Colonials Need Extras to Top Rhinos
Gil Cozart left his imprint on the 6-4 New England win against the Rubber City Rhinos. Cozart, who is tied for 6th in the RCL in total bases with 39, was 3 for 5 with 2 triples and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Rhinos fall to 8-13 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2034 season.

Cozart had a game-changing triple in the top of the 11th. On a 1-2 curveball from Will Taylor, he banged a 2-run triple to left, giving the Colonials a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th triple of the year for Cozart.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Cozart said after the game.
