Victory Over Baristas Takes Chicago to 20-10
|
Chicago Titans starter Jorge García was in fine form against the Silver Lake Baristas at Ashton Gate, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Brian Mullins recorded his 3rd save for Chicago. The Baristas fall to 10-20 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
The Titans got a big at-bat from first baseman Jaswant Ghosal. For the game, Ghosal was 1-4. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 18th hit of the season gave Chicago a 3-2 lead.
"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Tom Klein.
