Calgary pitcher Bruce Patterson gave the Racers all they could handle, but in the end, Bowling Green left Foothills Stadium with a 3-2 win. Patterson allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 6 innings. Bowling Green reliever Gerardo Garza was credited with the win, to go to 5-1. Bruce Patterson took the loss for Calgary. The save went to David Lidstone, his 5th this season.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the fourth, with the game tied, Griffin Roberge was at the plate when Bowling Green scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Racers to go in front, 1-0.

"Feels good to get the job done," Roberge said after the game.

The loss drops Calgary to 16-14.
