The Bronx Bombers grabbed a 5-3 win over the Albuquerque Cacti at Bronx Ballpark. Bronx center fielder Tae-soo Yi went 2-3 with 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Bartolo Alicpa earned the save for Bronx, his 1st. With the win, Bronx pushes its record to 12-17.

Yi contributed a big hit, a 2-run single, for Bronx in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Yi took a fastball from Tadahisa Minami and stroked the single to center. His 13th hit of the season allowed the Bombers to leap in front, 2-1.

Yi told a Bronx Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
