The Brooklyn Black Knights and Dallas Texans played an exciting game at Blue Ivy Stadium.
Brooklyn Black Knights starter Jesús Díaz was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Dallas Texans, 4-2. Cyprien Bataille, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. Ji-hwan Yea locked down his 7th save.
The Black Knights got a big at-bat from right fielder Ryan Cunningham. For the game, Cunningham went 1-3 with a triple. In the bottom of the seventh, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Brooklyn a 3-2 lead.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Brooklyn manager German Burdier.
Brooklyn, now 12-6, has played well in the early going.
