5 Straight Wins for Freeze
|
The Minneapolis Freeze topped the Canton Paczkis, 3-1, in Darryl Kile League action at Mckinley Park. The player of the game was Minneapolis pitcher Scott Ray. Rodolfo Reyes, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save. The Paczkis fall to 11-16 and continue their uneven start to the 2034 season.
The Freeze got a big at-bat from second baseman Tommy Moore. For the game, Moore went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 12th hit of the season gave Minneapolis a 2-1 lead.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Canton manager Omar Arteaga.
