6 Straight Wins for Raiders
|
The Reno Raiders topped the Coronado Phantoms, 7-3, in Darryl Kile League action at Phantoms Field. The player of the game was Reno second baseman Devin West. Diego Contreras, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. With their winning streak at 6, the Raiders have raced to a strong start this season.
West had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Raiders went on to win.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said West. "And not try to do too much."
