The Reno Rockets got a good effort from starter Robert Cook in defeating the Bronx Bombers at Red Rocket Field. The final score was 4-2. The Bombers fall to 11-16 and continue their lackluster start in 2034.

The Rockets got a big at-bat from catcher Tom Cherry. For the game, Cherry went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 5th hit of the season gave Reno a 4-2 lead.
