Fans who gathered at Ashton Gate saw a good contest between the Silver Lake Baristas and Calgary Kodiaks.

The Baristas had to overcome a fine performance from Calgary pitcher Bruce Patterson to grab a 4-2 win at Ashton Gate. Patterson allowed 2 earned runs over 6 innings. Silver Lake reliever Bhanuratha Vaithu was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Nobuatsu Fukumoto took the loss for Calgary.

Paul Harris was the walk-off hero for Silver Lake. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Baristas left fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Harris said.

The Baristas, with just their 8th win so far in 2034, have yet to catch fire.
