So Cal dropped a 8-0 shutout to Clint Taurus and the Santa Fe Fuego at House of the Republic today. The Republic offered little resistance to Taurus, who stopped them on 4 hits, fanned 11 and walked 1.

"It just felt right today," the right-handed Taurus told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."

Thus far this season Taurus has posted a 2-0 record, started 5 games, struck out 43 batters in 38.1 innings and compiled a 1.17 ERA.
