Beavers Rally to Eke Out Win
The Beavers had to overcome a fine effort from Havana pitcher Diego Santiago to grab a narrow 4-3 win at The Humidor. Santiago went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Juan Quezada, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. Losses have been few and far between for the Stogies so far this season. Their record drops to 13-6.

Portland relied on the hitting of Luke Riviere to pick up the win. The third baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Beavers on top, 4-3. For the game, Riviere had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Havana manager Reynaldo Vázquez said following the tough loss.
