Albuquerque and Chicago duked it out at The War Dome and the Cacti came out victorious.

Cacti designated hitter Munoto Okuta put his stamp on his team's 4-2 win over the Chicago Titans. Okuta went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Albuquerque in the contest. The winner was Yoshiaga Adachi, who threw 71 pitches over 5.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits. Willie Fierro closed the door for Albuquerque, picking up his 6th save of the year.

Giichiro Dunn aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 3.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Okuta told reporters after the game.

The win moves Albuquerque to a record of 12-11.
