McDonald Helps Argonauts Run Win Streak to 3
Astoria and Minneapolis duked it out at Golden Fleece Park and the Argonauts came out victorious.

Edmund McDonald drove in 5 runs to help Astoria defeat Minneapolis, 12-10. The pinch hitter had 1 double and 1 home run for the Argonauts. The winner was Rod Larcombe, who threw 104 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 7 runs on 8 hits.

McDonald contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Astoria in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, McDonald took a curveball from Scott Ray and stroked the double to center. His 1st double of the season allowed the Argonauts to leap in front, 2-1.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," McDonald told reporters after the game.

The win moves Astoria to a record of 10-11.
