The Canton Paczkis got a superb performance from pitcher Tom Cropper, but the Bowling Green Racers still won the game, 6-0. Cropper was named the player of the game despite the loss. He came in in relief and pitched to 16 batters . Cristoforo Giugino was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits, with 2 walks and 1 strikeout. Gerardo Garza finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Manuel Guzmán, who is tied for 4th in the NAL in triples with 2, aided the Bowling Green cause with a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I really like what we did out there today," Guzmán said after the game.
