Getting a good performance from center fielder Yen-nien Tong, the Minneapolis Freeze defeated the Bronx Bombers, 11-4. Tong went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 4 times and drove in 3 for the Freeze. The Bombers drop to 10-10 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2034 season.

Tong had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Freeze went on to win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Tong said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
