Raiders Rally to Eke Out Win
The Raiders faced a stiff challenge from Astoria pitcher Ronald Lee, but persevered to claim a win at Golden Fleece Park. The final score was 3-2. Lee went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Reno reliever Gerry LaForest picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Miguel Rodríguez was saddled with the loss. The Argonauts fall to 7-11 and continue their lackluster start in 2034.

Late-game drama came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Andrew Green, hit a single. It helped Reno seize the win.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Green said after the game.
