With left fielder Devin Colvin leading the charge, the Espanola Bomberos defeated the Fort Worth Cats, 4-2, at Casa de Fuego. Colvin was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs. The Cats fall to 6-11 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2034 season.
Colvin contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Espanola in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Colvin took a curveball from Scott Boorman and stroked the double to right-center. His 3rd double of the season allowed the Bomberos to leap in front, 2-1.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Colvin said after the game.
