|
Billings starter Luis Contreras pitched effectively against the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Contreras picked up the win for Billings, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. The save went to John Otten, his 2nd this season.
Jeff Butler aided the Billings cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the third. For the game, the catcher went 2 for 4 with a double.
