Cacti Win in Glorious Fashion

It was a good time at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, where fans came to watch the Bowling Green Racers and Albuquerque Cacti get after it.
The Albuquerque Cacti scored a 4-3 win versus the Bowling Green Racers at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Albuquerque pitcher Kanichi Kaneshiro nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Albuquerque reliever Willie Fierro picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. David Lidstone took the loss.
The Cacti got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Takafumi Ueno. For the game, Ueno went 1 for 1. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave Albuquerque a 4-3 lead.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Kaneshiro said.
The Racers fall to 6-11 and continue their lackluster start in 2034.
