Rockets Rally to Eke Out Win
The home team gave the Red Rocket Field fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Mitsuo Sasaki made an impact in the 8-7 Reno win over Espanola. Sasaki, who is tied for 3rd in the NAL in home runs with 5, hit 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Reno reliever Charlie Bennett picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. John Freemann absorbed the loss.

Sasaki had a game-changing double in the bottom of the 12th. On a 1-0 fastball from Kuniyoshi Nishiyama, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Rockets a 8-7 lead. It was the 1st double of the year for Sasaki.

"I felt good up there," said Sasaki. "I saw the ball well."

The loss drops Espanola to 8-6.
