Getting a good performance from right fielder Juan Politti, the Canton Paczkis defeated the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 6-5. Politti went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Paczkis. The Aeropostales fall to 5-10 and continue to sputter in the early going.
Politti had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Jose Avilez, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Paczkis a 6-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Politti.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Politti told the Canton Today.
