Behind a solid performance from second baseman Felipe Trinidad, the Bowling Green Racers defeated the Silver Lake Baristas, 5-4. Trinidad went 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks for the Racers. David Lidstone recorded his 4th save for Bowling Green. The Baristas, now 3-9, continue their poor start.

Had Augustin Connors not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Connors hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Racers.

Connors called the triumph "a good team win."
