The Albuquerque Cacti bested the Canton Paczkis by a score of 5-2, with first baseman Kijuro Masuda getting the main credit. On the day, Masuda was 2 for 2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Cacti. The Paczkis fall to 5-6 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

Masuda contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Albuquerque in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Masuda took a curveball from Goro Ota and stroked the double to right. His 4th double of the season allowed the Cacti to leap in front, 2-1.

"Enjoyed this one," Masuda told the Albuquerque Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
