Boorman Sensational for Cats
The skies opened up and the rain fell at Stanley Park.

The Fort Worth Cats defeated the Vancouver Canadians, 3-0, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stanley Park, with Fort Worth pitcher Scott Boorman named player of the game. Everton Mailes finished to wrap up his 3rd save.

In his 94-pitch effort, Boorman allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 6.

"Enjoyed this one," Boorman told the Fort Worth Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The Canadians fall to 6-6 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
