The umbrellas came out during the Bronx-Billings contest at Cobb Field.

Billings first baseman Jorge Rodríguez was sensational. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Bronx beat the Mustangs, 6-5. Rodríguez was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Mustangs fall to 4-6 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

The Bombers got a big at-bat from catcher Dave Ryder. For the game, Ryder was 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Bronx a 6-4 lead.

"We found a way to get it done," Ryder said.
