Rockets Walk Off with 4-3 Win
Red Rocket Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Reno Rockets and the Bowling Green Racers.

The Rockets grabbed a win, 4-3, at Red Rocket Field, overcoming a fine effort from Bowling Green pitcher Gerardo Garza. Garza went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Reno reliever Wilson Rivas was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Yohachi Adachi took the loss.

The Rockets got a big at-bat from third baseman Pat Hartley. For the game, Hartley was 1 for 6. In the bottom of the 13th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 17th hit of the season gave Reno a 4-3 lead.

Hartley described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.

The Racers fall to 5-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2034 season.
