Albuquerque Sports Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Albuquerque Cacti and Canton Paczkis.

Canton Paczkis starter Luis Vásquez was in fine form against the Albuquerque Cacti at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Vásquez picked up the win for Canton, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Atmananda Katragadda picked up the save, his 2nd.

Mitsukuni Hamaguchi was 2-5 with 2 singles for Canton. The 23-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Kanichi Kaneshiro. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

Hamaguchi called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
