The Minneapolis Freeze knocked off the Omaha Raptors, 6-3, at The Ice Box. Tommy Moore, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Minneapolis won. The second baseman was 2-2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI. The Freeze are off to a tough start, getting just their 3rd win in 8 games.

Yashpal Rob aided the Minneapolis cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
