Multi-HR Day for Hewitt as Rockets Overpower Titans, 7-4

Reno and Chicago duked it out at The War Dome and the Rockets came out victorious.
A 3-RBI performance from left fielder Keaton Hewitt led the Reno Rockets to a 7-4 win over the Chicago Titans. Andy Mendoza, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held Chicago to 4 earned runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts.
The Rockets got a big at-bat from first baseman Yoshihiro Takahashi. For the game, Takahashi was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 4th hit of the season gave Reno a 2-0 lead.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Takahashi told the Reno News.
Losses have been few and far between for the Titans, who are now 5-1.
