Carr has 3 hit night as Caterpillars Squeeze Past Calgary
Getting a good performance from second baseman Bill Carr, the Peoria Caterpillars defeated the Calgary Kodiaks, 7-6. Carr was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Caterpillars. Peoria reliever Matt Howard picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jose Munoz took the loss. The Caterpillars, with just their 2nd win so far in 2034, have yet to catch fire.

Carr had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch cutter from Jose Munoz, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Caterpillars a 7-6 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Carr.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Carr.
