Kerry Hood left his imprint on the 7-6 Billings win against the Astoria Argonauts. Hood, who is rated as the 24th best prospect by BNN, went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Billings reliever John Otten picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Artashes Injeyan was saddled with the loss. Billings, now 3-2, has gotten their season off to a good start.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from first baseman Jorge Rodríguez. For the game, Rodríguez went 1-5. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 7th hit of the season gave Billings a 7-6 lead.
